Luggage
All passengers are allowed free of charge allowance of 75kg for full ticket (meaning 2 pieces of hold/carried luggage and 1 hand baggage) and 35kg for half fare (children from 2 to 11 years old inclusive) subject to the following:
1. Permitted dimensions for free of charge luggage are as follows: (50 cm width – 90 cm length – 40 cm height for hold luggage). Luggage pieces which exceed the permitted dimensions or the permitted quantities may attract excess charges and are carried only at the discretion of the Darb Alwatan officials having regard to the carrying capacity of the vehicle and the expected load factor. Unduly bulky luggage that, in the opinion of Darb Alwatan, will cause undue inconvenience or any undue impediment to the smooth running of the trip will not be conveyed.
2. It must be ensured that luggage is labelled is on the piece, regardless of its size, carrying the Customer's information. If luggage labels or stickers are issued by Darb Alwatan at any location, the customer should ensure that such stickers are applied to the individual luggage pieces.
3. Hand baggage:
Hand luggage is the responsibility of the passenger, knowing that Darb Alwatan is not responsible for any damage to it.
4. Prohibited items that the passenger must not carry in the baggage, such as:
Materials that are prohibited from being transferred under the laws, regulations and orders in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Materials that are considered unsuitable for transportation due to their dangerous or unsafe or due to their weight, size, shape or characteristics or are prone to breakage or damage, including: flammable materials, explosives, weapons, ammunition, animals, reptiles, liquid materials, and acids.
You must not place fragile baggage or perishable items in the luggage hold as: precious materials, money, jewelry, precious metals, computers, personal electronic devices, and documents of paramount value or importance, negotiable papers.

Ensure that the delivered pieces are well tied and packed.
Ensure that they are free of prohibited substances stipulated in the regulations.
Take care of the packaging or removal of precious and fragile pieces.
